About Me

Welcome to my website! I am a licensed psychologist with over fifteen years experience working with children, families, and adults.

I use evidence-based interventions to help individuals manage stress related to anxiety, depression, and experiences of trauma. I have expertise in supporting children and adolescents with autism.

I also teach parents strategies to support their children's learning and development. I coach parents to manage behavior issues and give their children opportunities to thrive.

I have a strong background in comprehensive psychological evaluation. I specialize in autism assessment for toddlers, children, and adolescents, and adults.

I have broad experience providing psychological services in clinical and research settings. Before moving to New York, I was the Director of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Center at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California, where I provided evaluations and managed clinical services. In Emeryville, California, I started a school-based behavioral health program for a combined public elementary and middle school. At the UCSD School of Medicine Autism Center of Excellence, I coordinated clinical research for children under 5 years of age. I also provided developmental and intellectual evaluations for children and adolescents at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.

As a licensed psychologist in New York, I established Research Reliability on the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, the gold standard for assessing autism). In 2020, I became an Instructor in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Departments of Pediatrics and Neuroscience, where I administer neuropsychological assessment and contribute to NIH-funded research projects. I also provide autism assessment and consultation for research at NYU and Rutgers.

After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of San Diego, I was trained as an Educational Coach and provided specialized tutoring for students with learning disabilities. In graduate school, I trained with a specialization in child and adolescent development. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child/Family Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies in 2010.
